Audit the Federal Reserve Bill

Nothing defines members of congress more accurately than how they vote on key issues. Far more often than not, you’ll find Tom Udall’s votes on the “wrong” side of important bills! Reference supporting article links below.

What This Bill Does:

The Federal Reserve operates in secrecy and non-accountability even though they regulate the monetary supply in the U.S., set interest rates, and have considerable clout on Wall Street and financial markets. The Fed is a private corporation that does what Congress is supposed to do: coin money. There has been much written about its secret origins. A partial audit found $16 trillion dollars worth of transactions not reported. Every public business gets a complete audit; why not the Federal Reserve?

What Vote Aids Middle America: “Yes”

We want to see what is happening with the money the Fed prints out of thin air. We want to know who they are giving loans to? We want to know why they are hiding inflation, devaluing the dollar, and bailing out foreign banks and institutions? We want to know who the stockholders are.

What Tom Udall Voted: “He Doesn’t”

The most important bill few have heard of sits on Harry Reid’s desk. There were over eighty Democrats in the House that voted “Yes” to the Audit the Fed bill. The American people favor this legislation by a huge majority. Why hasn’t our Senator from New Mexico pushed as hard fore this bill as he did for filibuster reform? What the Federal Reserve does hurts all Americans.
